The Art of the Perfect Fit

A well-fitted frame is an extension of how you carry yourself. Each of our frames is designed with precise Japanese craftsmanship — and finding your fit is a matter of knowing a few key details.

01

Frame Width

The total frame width should feel balanced on your face. A frame that extends significantly beyond the temples can appear oversized, while one that pulls the face inward may feel restrictive. Some overhang is natural — what to avoid is excess in either direction.

02

Reading Your Frame Numbers

Every frame carries an engraved size code — for example, 48□20-145. The first two-digit number is the lens width in mm, the second is the bridge width, and the third is the temple length. These three numbers are your fit profile.

03

Bridge & Nose Fit

Our Japanese fit frames feature a sculpted bridge with a lower, wider profile — designed to sit comfortably without nose pads digging in or the frame riding too high. The bridge should rest evenly with no gap and no pressure.

04

Temple Length & Comfort

Temples should follow the contour of the ear without tension. A properly fitted temple lies flat against the side of the head and curves gently — never gripping. If your current frames leave marks or feel loose by midday, a different temple length may be the answer.
